However, you will need to have regular permission and access to social media platforms to be used for their business, be seeking work within any business sector which uses social media regularly, or they may already be employed in a cross-sector role of function that involves responsibility for carrying out and managing social media operations and functions.

There are a range of assessment techniques for the subjects covered which include online assignments using our Virtual Learning Environment, reflective accounts, witness testimonies, subject related discussions with your tutor including the production of evidence from undertaking and completing projects. These are all assessed at either pass or fail.

Learners who achieve the Gateway Level 3 Diploma in Social Media for Business (QCF) can progress to Level 4 Diploma in Business and Professional Administration (QCF) or a Level 4 Diploma in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals.
